So I just downloaded the entire series on itunes and watched the prequel for Impossible Astronaut (yes I have seen it before) its interesting that the Little Girl says that the Space Man told her about the Monsters (Silents) that is pretty interesting don't you think?

Yes it does count as canon. It was written I assume by Steven Moffat and was published on the BBC website.

Its interesting that she says that The Space Man tells her I agree. I wonder who the spaceman was? Could it have been the Doctor?
