So was with a couple of friends today (I know I have finally left the house ) and we got to talking about Doctor Who (of course) anyway we were all quite happy discussing theories, Steven Moffat and what have you when one of my friends asked me if I had watched all of the classic era. Which I confirmed in the negative and then she asked if I considered myself a fan and I of course replied in the positive and then she got all sniffy and said I couldnt possibly be a real fan if I havent seen all of the classic era.....

Does anyone actually agree with this or believe it?
